In recent years we have made many beautiful walks. We have recorded the walks with the help of GPS coordinates, photos and text. We would like to share this material with other walkers. Due to the geographical classification you can easily check whether there is a walk in your area. The information and photos on the route page can help you determine whether the walk is attractive and suitable.
We set out a small part of the walking routes ourselves. The others we found in hiking guides and on websites or requested them from municipalities and park managers. We list our source on the route page.
During our walk we note turns, road type and points of interest. Including picnic tables and benches. This way we can inform you on the distance to the next suitable place to take a break.
On the route page you can open an application to track the route. This application is designed for use on your mobile phone. After you have given permission for this, your current location will be requested from your telephone's location service with short time intervals. A map shows the route, your current location and the progress. The application provides detailed directions to help you follow the route.
If you have a GPS navigation device, there is a second option to follow the route. You can download a GPX file on the route page. The file includes a route, a track and points of interest. You can load the file on your device. Depending on your preference, the device allows you to follow the route or track.
