Hiking in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park
The Weerribben-Wieden National Park is located at the top of the province of Overijssel. It consists of 2 contiguous wetlands. The present landscape was created by peat extraction in the past and reed cultivation that continues to this day. These economic activities have created a very varied landscape with a lot of water. Some large puddles have also formed due to water ingress.
