Remilly-les-Pothées - Vaux-Villaine - Signy-l'Abbaye

This walk follows the Way of St James Via Lemovicensis (GR654) between Remilly-les-Pothées and Signy-l'Abbaye. The walk goes through rural area.

From Remilly-les-Pothées we walk up the hill and then descend to Rouvroy-sur-Audry. We do not enter the village, but on the edge of the village we see the beautiful XVth century fortified church, dedicated to Saint-Étienne. The path goes over another hill and brings us to the village of Vaux-Villaine. We walk past a religious monument and a fountain annex washing place.

We continue through a very sparsely populated area. The country roads continue past the hamlets of Malgretout and Faluel before we arrive in Signy-l'Abbaye. The river La Vaux flows through the center of the lively village.
