The Lac du Causse is a reservoir in the Couze river, between the municipalities of Lissac-sur-Couze and Chasteaux. A walking path runs around the lake, interrupted only by the dam. We follow this path from the point where the Couze flows into the Lac du Causse. The first part brings us to two beaches and a small harbor for water sports activities. In front of the first beach, there is a small island on which there is a former mill, housing the Lissac department of the tourist office of the Brive agglomeration. We take a narrow path along the beaches. At the harbor we return to the main path. When we almost reach the dam, we follow a narrow path along the bank. The Couze passes the dam via a tube and a fish ladder. We follow the dam to the opposite bank. Here we follow the path around the lake again. Arriving at the Parc Port Couzages bungalow park, we follow a narrow path along the associated marina. A little further on, this leads to the main path, which we follow again. Above the wooded hill next to the lake we can see the tower of the church of Chasteaux. The lake narrows and after we have crossed the Couze with an antique bridge, we have completed the walk.
