You walk from the Gerstenhalm Geiersnest car park up over forest roads. At the top you have beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. You walk through forests and along meadows. In the distance you can see the Vosges and Freiburg in Bresgau. Then you descend quite steeply. You walk over the Eckewitti-Weg back to the car park.
