Radau - Winterberg - Ecker

From the Radauwasserfall you walk up the Winterberg. Via the Winterbergklippe and the Rudolfsklippe you arrive at Molkenhaus. You first hike over meadows with views, then you descend to the Eckertal. You walk on a path along the Ecker to the dam and the Eckerstausee.
You walk across the dam, where you pass the former border between the GDR and the FRG.
Then you walk around Eckerstausee. First you have a view over the lake and you have the Brocken in sight. Then you walk through the forest to the Eckerquerung. There you cross the Ecker via boulders (this can be dangerous at high tide).
You walk on a path along the Ecker until you reach the Eckerstausee again. A path along the bank brings you back to the dam.
Then you walk to the Luisenbank and walk back to the starting point via forest paths.
