Circular walk, 12 km
You walk from the village of Oberwesel past the Martinskirche. Then you walk up a path to the Kackstuhl viewpoint. You continue walking through forests and past fields. You pass the Jewish cemetery. You pass several viewpoints. After Damscheid you follow a path over the northern slope of the Oberbach valley. You walk past vineyards and get a view of Schönburg Castle and the Rhine. You walk to the Schwede-Buren viewpoint. Then you follow a path down. You walk back to the starting point via the Kreuzweg and the path along the old city wall.
