Route: Manderscheid: Mosenberg

The walk starts on the Lieserpfad. From the path you have a beautiful view of the Oberburg and the Niederburg of Manderscheid. You walk along the viewpoints Pelenzkanzel (with Schmitthütte), Robertskanzel and the Weifelsjunk-Schutzhütte.
Then you walk through the valley of Kleine Kyll and pass the Germaniënbrucke at a waterfall. Then the walk continues through the Wolfsschlucht. You hike further up to the Mosenberg (517 m) with shelter and viewpoint.
Walking along the Vulkanweg you come to the Windsborn crater (498 m) with jagged edges of tuff and with a crater lake.
The descent towards Manderscheid takes you past the Heidsmühle, a water mill in which a restaurant is located.
