Schönecken
Circular walk, 13 km
From the starting point of the walk you immediately have a beautiful view of Burg Schönecken. You first hike through the Nims valley and then along the Schalkenbach to resting place Meyersruh. This area is known as the Schönecker Schweiz. The walk continues along the hollow rock Hohllay.
Then you climb the Ischterberg. You walk along the Altburger Bach until you reach Burg Schönecken again. From there you have a nice view of the valley.
