You walk on the Liebfrauenstraße through Oberwesel. Then you take a hiking trail that goes up to Burg Schönburg. Then you walk on roads and paths along vineyards. You will pass several viewpoints on the Rhine. You continue walking on paths through meadows. At Aussichtspunkt Blücherblick you have a view of Kaub and Burg Pfalzgravenstein. The walk continues along paths and eventually you descend past vineyards to Bacharach. You walk through Bacharach to the Rhine.
