Route: Elend - Schierke

From the Holzkirche in Elend you walk into the Elendstal. You walk along the bank of the Kalte Bode on a forest path. Then you walk through the forest up the Barenberg. You arrive at the Schnarcherklippen, with its distinctive shapes. At a viewpoint you can see the Brocken. The Schierker Feuerstein is also visible.
From the Schnarcherklippen you walk to the Mäuseklippen and then you arrive in Schierke. From there you walk through the beautiful Elendstal past the Kalte Bode back to Elend.
