Orvelte

Circular walk, 12 km

Route: Orvelte

You walk from holiday park Orveltermarke to Museum Village Orvelte. You walk through the village and you leave Orvelte via the Schapendrift. You walk along ash trees and hedgerows to the Reijntjesveld. This is a former drifting sand area, which later became overgrown by mosses and heather. You pass a reconstructed farm from the Iron Age (700 BC to the beginning of the era).
You walk further over the Reijntjesveld and cross the Orvelterstraat. There you walk via the Zuiderseweg and along the canal from the Westerborkerveld to the Meester J.B. Kanweg, back to Orveltermarke.
