Fochteloo - Veenhuizen

You walk from the Brunstingerplas through the Fochteloërveen. You follow the Bonghaar, a footpath and boardwalk. You then walk through the forest until you arrive at Veenhuizen, a Colony of Benevolence where paupers were formerly sent. They were educated and taught discipline. You walk past a number of historical buildings along the Hoofdweg. Afterwards, you walk back through the Fochteloërveen to the Brunstingerplas.
