Gees - Meppen
Circular walk, 20 km
You walk from the parking lot on rural roads to Geest and then on to Meppen. In Meppen you walk through the village past several old farms. You walk through the forest of the Mepperdennen and then walk along the Koemarsendijk along a few lakes to Boswachterij Gees. There you walk through forests, past fens and along the Hooge Stoep, a vast moor. Then you arrive back at the parking lot.
