You walk from the Vaste Burchtkerk on rural roads to De Ie. You follow the path along the water until you are in Sloten. You take a walk through the town of Sloten and then continue along the Sleattemer Gat to the Slotermeer. There you walk on a grass path along the bank. Then you walk through the Wikelerhop and the Wikelerbosk back to the church in Wijckel.
