You walk from Cornwerd over the dike to Makkum. Along the way you have a view of the IJsselmeer. You walk past the church of Makkum and then you go to the Melkfoart. You follow this canal through the meadows to Wons. From Wons you walk back to Cornwerd on a rural road.
