Gytsjerk - Oentsjerk - Aldtsjerk - Readtsjerk - Mûnein

The walk starts in the Frisian village of Gytsjerk. You walk to the Martinus church. Then you walk through meadows to the next Frisian village, Oentsjerk.

You walk along the Wynzerdyk to the reformed church. Then you walk through the village to Landgoed de Staniastate, a former country retreat (nowadays catering establishment), surrounded by a beautiful garden. The walk goes over the estate.

After the Staniastate you walk to the village of Aldtsjerk. There you pass the Sint-Paulus church and you walk further to Landgoed De Klinze. This former noble residence is nowadays a hotel. You walk along the pond through the garden of the estate.

Then the walk goes through rural areas to the village of Munein. You walk through the village and you pass a small harbor.

You walk back along lanes and country paths to Gytsjerk.
