You walk from the parking lot through a swamp forest to the Rotstersloot. Follow this ditch until you reach the Bisschopsweg.

Then you walk past a helophyte filter, a reed filter to purify the water from the Tsjonger. You walk on grass paths to the Schoterweg and then on grass paths back to the helophyte filter. Then the walk continues to the birdwatching hut Skiere Goes. You walk past lakes and through low moor and reed beds back to the starting point.
