Alde Feanen: Headammen

Walk through the Alde Feanen: along Westersanning and the Jan Durkspolder, through Brêgeham, over Headammen along the Wijde Ee (Wide Ie). Over the Kuierpaad past the Headamsleat and finally a path between the Krûsdobbe and the Lytse Mear.You will encounter 2 bird watching huts on the way, one that looks out over the water of Westersanning and one that looks out over the under watered Jan Durkspolder. Along the Kuierpaad is the lookout tower Romsicht where you have a panoramic view over the southern part of the Alde Feanen area.
