Makkum - Piaam

You walk from the parking lot through a park to the Van Doniakerk. Then you walk to the dike. You follow the dike to the Visafslag and then the Zeedijk. You look out over reed lands to the IJsselmeer. At Kooihuizen you walk back and forth to the
Ral Bird Hide.
Then you walk along the other side of the dike to the village of Piaam. From Piaam you walk again over the Zeedijk to Makkum. After a walk through the village you return to the starting point.
