Dokkum - Leeuwarden

Walk along the west side of the Dokkumer Ee.

We walk through Dokkum, the village Burdaard (with shops and restaurants), the hamlets Tergrêft and Tichelwurk. The villages of Bartlehiem, Wyns, Lekkum and Snakkerburen are located on the east bank. If desired, the river Dokkumer Ee can be crossed by ferry at Wyns to visit the De Winze eatery. In Leeuwarden we follow the Ee until it flows into the Noorder Stadsgracht.
