Boxtel - Liempde

Linear walk, 16 km

Route: Boxtel - Liempde

You walk from the station through Boxtel. After a walk through the old city, you follow the path along the Dommel. Then you walk along the remains of the German Line (Duits Lijntje), an old railway line. Along fields and meadows you reach the nature reserve De Geelders, a wet forest area. After the forest, a rural area follows again. Back at the Dommel, you pass the farm Groot Duijfhuis (1556) with a dovecote, built in 1661. You walk further and cross the Dommel with a ferry. Then you walk into Liempde.
