IJ banks center west

Walk on both sides along the banks of the IJ.

We leave from the Central Station and cross the IJ with the ferry CS-Buiksloterweg. On the other side we see the striking buildings of the Eye film museum and the A’DAM tower. Upon arrival of the ferry we follow the footpath to the left in a northerly direction, as close as possible along the water. Until we can not continue. We walk back a bit, and then walk through Overhoeks to the NDSM shipyard.

Here we look around and then take the ferry from NDSM to the Pontsteiger in the Houthavens. We walk to Silodam and Westerdokseiland, on the new island of IJdock.
