You walk from the parking lot through the Robbenoordbos to the Zuiderhaven. You pass the Leemans pumping station (1930). Then you walk under the highway to the grass dike of the polder Waard Nieuwland. You walk over the grass dike to the bridge. Then you walk along the fish circle Wieringermeer. You walk along the Den Oeversche Vaart and through the forest and you go through a tunnel under the highway again. Then you take the ferry for hikers across the Hoge Kwelvaart and walk back to the starting point.
