You walk through the Dijkgatbos. Then you walk to the Sluisdeuren viewpoint. You walk further through the Robbenoordbos. You will arrive at the Noorderdijkweg. There you go up the dike and you walk along the IJsselmeer to the Dijkgat Monument. This memorial was erected in memory of the inundation of the Wieringermeer on April 17, 1945. After that you arrive at the starting point of the walk.
