You walk from Amerongen Castle through the Amerongse Bovenpolder. Then you walk through Amerongen forestry. You walk through a varied forest to the Lone Oak. The walk continues to Leersum, where you walk across the heath. Then you arrive at Castle Zuylestein via forest paths. You walk across the estate to the Lekdijk. From there you walk through the flood plains back to Amerongen Castle.
