Doorn - Leersum

Walk through the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park between Doorn and Leersum. We walk through the Kaapse Bossen, past the day recreation area Doornse Gat and over the top of the Dartheuvel (46.8m).

When crossing the Rijkstraatweg (N225) we pass restaurant Darthuizen. In the back of the parking lot of the restaurant is the path that takes us to the estate Broekhuizen. We make a round trip around the estate, where we can admire the Broekhuizen castle and its beautiful garden.

We continue through the woods at Darthuizen. The route crosses the Rijkstraatweg twice. We walk on the Postweg, with a view on the farmlands of the Sandenburg estate. Via Eikenbosch we return at the Groene Entree Kaapse Bossen.
