Route: Castelo da Lousã - Talasnal - Casal Novo

You walk up from Castelo da Lousã in the direction of Talasnal. On the way you always have a view of the castle, and of the Ermida and Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Piedade.
After you have risen considerably, you will arrive at Talasnal, a village of slate. You walk through this village, which has been partly restored. Then you walk further to the next village of slate: Casal Novo.
Then you walk on a path through the forest that sometimes descends steeply. You pass a cross with a viewpoint and then walk past a cave.
You arrive at Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Piedade. From here you can walk to the Praia Fluvial da Senhora da Piedade, a natural swimming pool. You see the castle and you are back at the starting point.
