You walk from Quinta do Pomarinho along paths to Castelo de Vide. You walk through the town. You walk through narrow streets and pass churches and fountains. Then you walk out of the city and follow a road up to Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Penha. From there you have a beautiful view of Castelo de Vide. Then you walk along the M1008 and a medieval cobblestone road to the path that goes back to Quinta de Pomarinho.
