You walk from the parking lot at the church through Esperança. You walk out of the village and continue along the road. Then you follow various paths through rural areas. You continue walking until you arrive at Pinturas Rupestres do Abrigo de Vale de Junco / Lapa dos Gaivões, where you can see ancient petroglyphs. You continue your way and continue walking along paths until you arrive back in Esperança.
