Walk at the mouth of the Nisa river in the Tagus.
We walk from the hydroelectric power plant over a road along the Nisa river. We arrive at a peninsula in the meandering river and a dam in the river. We cross the river with the dam and follow the river further along the other side. We arrive at the mouth of the Nisa in the great river Tagus.
Here a climb to the high bank starts. We follow the river back, but now 70 meters higher than on the way there. At a talweg (the line of lowest elevation within a valley) we descend back to the Nisa. We arrive at the dam and cross it again. We walk to the power station on the same road.
NB! To find the starting point of this walk follow the following instructions:
Back over the dam and over the same road to the power station.
