Circular walk, 6 km
You walk from the parking lot in Ouguela through the gate to the Praça da República. There you walk past the remains of the old castle and the wall. Then you walk along paths to Atalaia de São Pedro, an old watchtower. You descend to the Ribeira de Abrilongo, which you cross using stepping stones. You continue walking along paths, cross the river again and walk for a while along the Xévora River. Then you walk back to the village.
