You walk on the road along the Praia Fluvial dos Olhos d'Água and then you go up with a path.
You will pass caves: Algar de Janel Cársica. Then you walk along the Ribeira dos Amiais. This stream flows through a complex network of underground caves and flows into the source of the Río Alviela. You walk on to the Lapa da Canada, a cave through which the river flows.
You walk back to the road and then walk to the source of the Río Alviela.
You follow the road further along the river and you come back to the starting point.
