Hiking in the Serra de Montsant

The Sierra de Montsant (catalan: Serra de Montsant) is a mountain range in the Priorat region, Taragona province, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The mountain range is part of the Cordillera Prelitoral. Some peaks in the area: Roca Corbatera (1162m), Piló de las Señales (1107m) and La Cogulla (1062m). Much of the area is protected in the Serra de Montsant Natural Park, which was established in 2002. South of the mountain range is the famous Priorat wine region.
