Wieda - Stöberhai

Harz

Circular walk, 11 km

Route: Wieda - Stöberhai

The hike starts on the cycling and hiking trail on the route of the former Südharz-Eisenbahn.
After you have followed it a bit, bend up into the forest. You follow the ascending forest path to the Stöberhai, where there is a shelter. At that point you have beautiful views.
You continue the forest path and arrive at a second cabin. There you have a view to the Oderstausee.
The walk continues through the forest to the Hampehütte. From there you walk back down towards Wieda until the Bohlweg. From there you follow the former railway track back to the starting point.
