You walk through the village of Calatabiano on the asphalt road to the banks of the Alcantara. On the hill lies the Castello di Calatabiano. You walk further on a dirt road with irrigation channels along gardens and farmland. You walk for a while right next to the river until you reach a bridge. You cross the Alcantara with the bridge and walk further to Gaggi.
