Route: Trecastagni: Monte Gorna

You walk up the Via Santa to a side path. You walk up the path through the forest. Then you walk around the crater of the volcano. At the antenna building you are at the highest point of the Monte Gorna. You walk further and you have beautiful views of the surroundings: the volcanic landscape of Etna, the east coast of Sicily and the Ionian Sea. Then you return through the forest to the Via Santa and to the starting point.
