Jaraba - Calmarza: Hoces del Río Mesa

A walk through the Hoces del Río Mesa between Santuario Nuestra Señora de Jaraba and Calmarza. You walk alternately along the A-1501 and on paths along the Río Mesa. During the walk you can observe vultures.

stage 1 - forth (4 km 561)

You walk from Santuario Nuestra Señora de Jaraba, a monastery built into the rocks, over the A-1501 along the Río Mesa. Then you take a path that bends away from the road. You continue to follow this path until you eventually arrive back at the A-1501. You follow the road for a while until you go up on a path to the village of Calmarza.
