You walk from the parking lot on country roads through fields. Then you walk to the Río Guadalaviar and cross it. You walk along an irrigation channel for a while. Then you walk on a narrow path high above the gorge through which the river flows. The path descends again to the river. You pass the ruins of an old water mill, Molino de Barranco Hondo. The river flows here through a wider valley. You walk along the river until you arrive at a narrow gorge. Here you cross the river via a small dam. You walk back along the other side of the river. With forest roads you climb out of the valley and you walk high above the Río Guadalaviar back to the field road. You follow this to the start of the walk.
