Montejo de la Vega de la Serrezuela - Presa de Linares

Walk through the Hoces del Río Riaza. If you want to do this walk between January 1 and July 31, you need permission from the Casa del Parque. This is in connection with the breeding season of the griffon vultures.

stage 1 - forth (9 km 524)

You walk along Calle de la Cruz past vineyards to the Río Riaza. Then the path goes up. You have a nice view of the area and the surrounding rocks. These rocks are inhabited by griffon vultures. As the trail begins to descend you get a view of the Ermita de Santa Maria del Casuar. You will arrive at the Finca El Casuar. The walk continues along the Río Riaza. You walk under the railway viaduct and continue until the Presa De Linares.

You walk back on the same path.
