The walk starts on the south side of Riaza.
stage 1 - Riaza - Ermita de San Benito (5 km 451)
You walk along a wide path through an oak forest until the landscape becomes more open. You then walk across meadows with trees and you have a view of the mountains.
The path goes to the Ermita de San Benito. There is a meadow with picnic tables.
stage 2 - Ermita de San Benito - Riaza (5 km 873)
From the Ermita the walk goes to the Arroyo de San Benito. The path goes through an oak forest until the exit for Riofrío de Riaza. You don’t take that exit, you continue walking towards Riaza.
You return to Riaza via the Camino San Benito.
