Riaza - Riofrío de Riaza

You walk out of the village through the streets of Riaza. You then walk into the río Riaza valley. You walk along the river for a while and you cross the Arroyo de Peña Blanca. You continue on the rising path. From the path you have a view of the Sierra de Ayllón.

After a while the village of Riofrío de Riaza comes into view. The village is at an altitude of 1,312 m. After crossing the Arroyo del Fontarrón you walk into the village. You walk past the Iglesia San Miguel Arcángel (patron saint of the village). After you have walked past the town hall you walk out of the village again.

You walk for a while on a wide dirt road and you cross the Arroyo de Peña Blanca. After a while you leave the broad path and walk along a path past scrub and stones. You have a view of Riaza. The path descends to Riaza and you cross the Río Riaza.

In Riaza you first walk along the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Manto. Then you take another round on the beautiful Plaza Mayor of Riaza.
