Cañizares: Puente de Vadillos - Estrecho de Guijarro

At the narrow of Guijarro, the river Guadiela squeezes through a narrow crevice between the rocks. A small dam of 41 meters long and 35 meters high has been built in this fissure: Presa de Molina de Chincha. The water from the reservoir is used to generate electricity.

You walk from Puente de Vadillos on a path along the Guadiela to the reservoir Embalse del Molino de Chincha. You walk further along the lake to the dam, Presa del Molino de Chincha. There you have a beautiful view of the lake from the observation platform.
