In the heart of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park is an area with a high concentration of spectacularly shaped rock formations. It is a karst landscape, where the special forms have arisen over millions of years due to erosion by wind, water and temperature differences. With a little imagination you can see animals, faces or objects in some of the formations. The area is illustrative of the large amount of special landscapes that you will find in the nature park.
La Ciudad Encantada, the Enchanted City, is a private area with limited opening hours and fee entry. Check the official website www.ciudadencantada.es for opening hours and rates.
