Route: Guijo de Santa Bárbara - Garganta del Campanario

The circular walk starts in Guijo de Santa Bárbara. You walk up through the village to the Mirador del Chinarral. The walk continues on a cement path through the forest, until you turn and you walk up with a rocky path. You can see the Refugio de las nieves at the highest point. You have views of the surrounding mountains and the Vera valley.
You walk up to the Refugio de las nieves and continue the walk with a path behind the Refugio. You walk through the Garganta del Campanario. You cross the river at the Pontón del Campanario. A little further on you arrive at Chozos de los Campanarios, in a landscape of jagged rocks.
You walk on to the Garganta de Jaranda. The path is rocky, narrow and can be overgrown by bushes. When you arrive at the Garganta de Jaranda you continue on the Antiguo Camino de Castilla. Follow this long road until you return to Guijo de Santa Bárbara.
