Route: Jarandilla de la Vera - Guijo de Santa Bárbara

You walk from Castillo de Jaranda on Avenida Soledad in the direction of Garganta Jaranda. You walk up through the forest and arrive at the river. You cross it and walk in the direction of Guijo de Santa Bárbara, which you will soon see. Before the village you come to a natural swimming pool in the Garganta Jaranda, El Charco. There you cross the river with a bridge and rise parallel to the river. You cross El Gargantón and you walk back down through forests and fields with beautiful views of La Vera. Eventually you will arrive at a natural swimming pool in the Garganta Jaranda, at Puente Parral, a Roman bridge. You walk from the bridge back to the starting point.
