From the parking lot you walk along a path along the Río Guadiana. You cross the river with the Puente Real. On the other side you can walk through Parque Márgenes del Guadiana along the river. You walk under a few bridges. After the Puente de la Autonomía you have a view of Alcazaba de Badajoz on the other side of the river. Then you walk back to the Puente de Palma and cross the river. You walk along a path along the Guadiana back to the parking lot
