Then you walk on a country road to the Monasterio de San Jerónimo de Yuste. After his abdication, Emperor Charles V spent his last years in this monastery (1402).
From the monastery you walk a bit on the Ruta del Emparador Carlos V. Then you walk through forest trails and country roads back to Cuacos de Yuste.
