Embalse de Cornalvo

Circular walk, 7 km

Route: Embalse de Cornalvo

The circular walk in the Parque Natural de Cornalvo starts at the Presa Romana de Cornalvo. This 220 meter long Roman dam dates back to the year 130. The dam, together with Lake Cornalvo, is part of the Unesco World Heritage.
The walk goes around the lake, sometimes along the banks, sometimes a little further away. On the way you will pass the Emérito, el Abuelo de Cornalvo. This is a huge cork oak that is 400 years old. During the walk you have a view of the lake and the dam. You eventually walk back to the starting point over the dam.
