A walk through Parque Nacional de Monfragüe. Part of the walk goes along the Río Tiétar. You walk to the Mirador la Tajadilla, where you can see vultures.
You walk from Villarreal de San Carlos on a beautiful path to the Mirador del Serrano. There you have a view of the mouth of the Río Tiétar in the Río Tajo, with the old bridge Puente del Cardenal in it. You walk further to the Arroyo Majalhonda, which you cross with a bridge. Then you follow the path first to Fuente del Alisar and then to Fuente De Los Tres Caños. You always keep looking out over the Río Tiétar. After the Fuente you follow the path along the river to the Mirador la Tajadilla. On the other side is a rock where vultures reside.
Back we follow the same path to the bridge over the Arroyo Majalhondo. After the bridge we follow a path on the right that leads directly to the parking lot of Villarreal de San Carlos.
